H. E. Ayang Rinpoche's phowa course will once again be bestowed in Vancouver from 14th to 23rd September, 2013. Many of you have requested for this teaching last year by putting your name in a request list, please take advantage of the early bird registration and send us an email. Suggested donation is $350 before 1st August, after that will be $400. However, no one will be turned away from this teaching because of financial issues. Please contact us directly.
As we need to meet the various expenses of Rinpoche and his attendants travel costs as well as other costs associated with this teaching, it is customary to post a suggested donation. We make exceptions for students and family members and apply a reduced amount. To help those who may need this service we also appeal to other Dharma friends who may wish to donate towards this eventuality and make this precious teaching available to as many people as possible.
This precious Phowa teaching was transmitted to us directly from Buddha Amitabha, via Guru Rinpoche.
Ayang Rinpoche told me many years ago that one needs to take this phowa course a minimum 7 times as there are too much to absorb in this course. Just attending one time is not enough to gain the benefits and the realizations. He also strongly suggested that the True Nature of Mind teachings should be taken. The combination of these two, i.e. Phowa and True Nature of Mind practices in union will guarantee liberation.
The venue will be at our center at 4025 Triumph Street, Burnaby, Canada.
